BST is the protocol token of Blocksquare, the infrastructure Oceanpoint licenses. Oceanpoint holds a locked BST treasury stake; its own token is POINT, planned and not yet issued. Stake BST in the governance pool on Oceanpoint to receive sBST, which accrues pool rewards in BST and carries the vote on Snapshot proposals.

Ways to earn BSTStaking
BST → sBST
Holding BST does nothing on its own. Staking it is what turns it into pool rewards and a vote.
Deposit BST into the governance pool and you receive sBST, a tokenized share of that pool. It accrues the pool's BST rewards while you hold it, and it is what you vote with on Snapshot. It does not share Oceanpoint's trading or listing fees (1.0% to Oceanpoint, 0.5% to Blocksquare infrastructure per trade). Return the sBST to withdraw your BST. There is a 48-hour lock after depositing; beyond gas, no deposit or withdrawal fees.
