Oceanpoint

Oceanpoint is a Luxembourg company, registered as Blocksquare S.à r.l. and being renamed Oceanpoint S.à r.l. It runs the Oceanpoint marketplace, the liquidity engine and its treasury, and the Oceanpoint dApp. It is led by CEO Denis Petrovčič and built by the core team of Blocksquare. See About.

Blocksquare

Blocksquare d.o.o. (Ljubljana, Slovenia) is a separate, related company that develops the real estate tokenization infrastructure and licenses it to Oceanpoint. Oceanpoint and Blocksquare share founders, so they are related parties. Blocksquare also issues BST and runs the ambassador program.

Property owners

Owners tokenize a slice of a building, typically 20–30%, and keep the rest. They apply online at /tokenize (Apply, Upload, Review, Tokenize); the listing fee is 5–6%, taken in tokens. Owners can stake their property tokens in the issuer asset pool to earn BST rewards.

Marketplace investors

Investors buy and sell property tokens (BSPTs) on the Oceanpoint marketplace or on partner marketplaces. This needs an account and KYC verification, and some countries are not supported. Holders are eligible for rental income distributions, or can stake BSPTs in a community asset pool.

BST holders

BST holders can stake BST in the governance pool and receive sBST. sBST accrues the pool's BST rewards and carries the vote on governance-pool and protocol proposals on Snapshot. sBST does not share Oceanpoint's trading or listing fees.

Pool participants

Pool participants stake in the Oceanpoint dApp: BST in the governance and marketplace pools, BSPTs in the asset pools, or LP tokens in the liquidity pool. Rewards are paid in BST. See Earn.

Liquidity providers

Liquidity providers add BST and ETH to the Uniswap V2 pool and stake the LP tokens on Oceanpoint. Ahead of the POINT launch, Oceanpoint is also speaking with larger liquidity providers one to one: a DeFi route with POINT, and a TradFi route for fiat capital planned for Q2 2027. Certified partners

Certified partners operate their own marketplaces on Blocksquare's white-label infrastructure. This is Blocksquare's offer, not Oceanpoint's. A certified partner can raise sBST from the community through a marketplace pool.

Ambassadors

Ambassadors organize into Regional Hubs and earn BST for events, referrals, KYC-verified onboarding and tokenized properties. The ambassador program is run and funded by Blocksquare. Apply on the Advocate page.
