Ambassador registration

To become an ambassador, you complete a short online application at oceanpoint.fi/advocate/apply.

The program is run and funded by Blocksquare. The application has five steps. After each one we email you a link to the next, and if you stop halfway you can sign in with the same email to pick up where you left off.

1. Apply

Enter your first name, last name and email. You'll receive an email with a link to the next step.

2. Application form

The fuller application asks for:

• your country and city
• your LinkedIn profile and Discord handle
• the communities where you're a trusted voice
• your background and why you want to represent Oceanpoint

This helps the program team assess whether the ambassador role is a good fit.

3. Knowledge quiz

A short self-evaluation quiz on the Oceanpoint ecosystem. Completing it is mandatory, but it is not pass/fail: your result shows which areas you may want to read up on before representing the program.

4. Account and wallet registration

Register your account and wallet on the Oceanpoint marketplace and complete KYC. Use the same email you applied with so the application can match your account. For KYC you need an ID document and a wallet.

Rewards from the quarterly competitions are paid in BST to this wallet, so bank details are not needed. If you already have a marketplace account with the same email, it is picked up automatically.

KYC process and participation requirements

Registering a wallet and completing KYC (Know Your Customer) is mandatory for all ambassadors. It is needed to comply with regulatory requirements and to pay rewards securely.

5. Sign the referral agreement

The last step is the Regional Ambassador Referral Agreement, which formalizes your role. You review and sign it directly on the application page; keep the pre-filled email as the signing email so the agreement links to your application. The agreement runs for 12 months and then prolongs automatically in 3-month periods.

Once it is signed, you're a Regional Ambassador. You'll receive a welcome guide by email and can join the community on Discord.

After onboarding, you manage your ambassadorship in the ambassador dashboard: your profile and wallet, referrals and earnings, your Regional Hub and its events. Your signed agreement and the code of conduct are under Profile & settings.
