Regional Hub registration
Once you are an active ambassador, you can team up with other ambassadors and form a Regional Hub, the unit that competes in the quarterly competitions.
You start a hub from the Regional hub section of the ambassador dashboard, which walks you through these steps:
1. Forming a Regional Hub
Choose where your hub will operate (a region or city) and, optionally, a name. If you leave the name blank, the program team names it after the region.
Then invite members by email. Invitees must be active ambassadors who are not yet in a hub, and invites expire after 14 days. A full hub has at least five confirmed members.
Each ambassador can belong to only one Regional Hub at a time. Moving from one hub to another is possible; it goes through the program team.
Not able to form an initial group of 5 ambassadors?
You don't need five members to start. You can submit an early hub with one to four members:
- Start alone or with fellow ambassadors.
- Nothing is required from members. Blocksquare adds 4,000 BST per member to the hub's quarterly rewards pool, up to 20,000 BST.
- Keep inviting members to grow into a full hub.
Register a hub now, take part in the quarterly competitions, and grow to a full hub later. Either way, the hub's pool grows by 4,000 BST with each member.
2. Selection of a Regional Chair
The hub's first collective decision is to choose a Regional Chair, who leads and coordinates the hub's activities.
The members choose the chair themselves. In a group, members vote from their own dashboards and the majority wins; the vote of the ambassador who started the hub breaks ties. If you start a hub alone, you are its chair by default.
3. Registration of the Regional Hub
Review the hub's details, members and chair, and submit the request. The program team verifies the request before the hub is approved.
4. Eligibility for Quarterly Competitions
Once approved, the hub can compete for the quarterly BST pool. The competitions reward hubs based on their activities and contributions to the network.
Every new Regional Hub must be reviewed and approved before it can take part in the quarterly competitions.
You can learn more about the BST reward pool in Quarterly BST allocations.
Participation in Quarterly Competitions
Ambassadors don't have to join or form a Regional Hub, but only registered hubs take part in the quarterly competitions. Ambassadors outside a hub cannot earn from the quarterly BST pool.
Joining or forming a Regional Hub lets you take part in the competitions and earn a share of the quarterly BST pool.
